Blue Wildebeests 2

A Blue Wildebeest, Connochaetes taurinus, cow and her calf, walking through a dry riverbed. From a photo taken by a friend. There are fortunately still many of these large cow-like antelopes around. They belong to the long-faced antelope tribe, the Alcelaphini, along with hartebeests, tsessebes and blesboks. They are weird in many ways but fascinating and beautiful to me. Watercolour.
