Paraceratherium transouralicum

Paraceratherium was a kind of giant rhinoceros that lived in Asia in the Oligocene epoch.  The largest species could reach 5 m at the shoulder and a body mass of about 15-20 tonnes, and considered the largest land mammals ever.  These were not very closely related to living rhinos, but were an offshoot from an early group of lightly-built running rhinos, and never developed horns.  The group became extinct without leaving any descendants.
