The South African Bushbaby, Galago moholi, is a very small and very cute primate, one of two galago or bushbaby species found in this country. It inhabits savannah country, where trees are widely spaced, using its long legs to make leaps of up to 6 m/20 ft to get from one tree to another. It eats the sweet gum of thorn and other trees, and will also catch insects and occasionally eat fruit. Watercolour.
So cute and fluffy.
Very well done Thought it was a photo at first
Almost like a photo. I love this picture, very well done.
What do you do to mix the awesome into your paint?
Hi, thanks for the comment! Heh heh I don't know how much of an effect it has, but since my cat often sits with me on my desk while I paint she ends up contributing many of her hairs to my paint palette ... maybe it helps with fluffy creatures like this.
Beautiful work as always! Stunning eyes & wonderful tail!
Glad you like it Sarah!
So beautiful, how do you manage to make such realistic fur? I love your style!
Thanks! I just make sure to be painting very fine lines, and wash them out a bit at the tips to make them 'soft'
