Stickyfingers

Another fantasy critter from my 'Wavendreem's Garden' world!  The stickyfingers live in forests in the warm regions of the Lands of Youth close to the Jungle of Oblivion.  They are naked-skinned since these forests are always warm, and their greenish skin camouflages them well amidst the moss and leaves.  On each hand they have a long finger that is boneless, like a tentacle, that is normally curled up.  They can rapidly extend these fingers to grasp their prey, which can be insects or smaller arboreal mammals, birds, reptiles or amphibians.  These 'fingers' are coated with a very sticky secretion to ensure a firm grasp of the prey.  This creature is sort of a mammalian chameleon ... it has similarities with a few other of 'our' creatures too, can you see them?
