The Horned Pelican of Irkania

Another fantasy bird!  This is the Horned Pelican, which lives along the shores of the Sea of Irkania, in the kingdom of Solkayis.  The male and female both have the facial wattles, but those of the female are slightly smaller. But it's only the male who develops this horn-like growth on his bill, in the breading season.  It's a huge species, reaching 3 m in full length, and 30 kg/66 lbs in weight.  Otherwise these pelicans are much like the ones we have here on Earth.
